Soviet style Police State right here in the US

The New York Police department has been using CIA style techniques on it’s own citizenry for over a decade.  The department has used tactics like this back in the 1960’s against anti war protest groups. (BOSS) Bureau of Special Services infiltrated such groups and gathered information on their members.  This information was not just used and held by the police department but was also give to various licensing groups such as the bar admissions committee.  This resulted in many people due their political affiliations from gaining employment or licensing for their desired careers.

In addition to the surveillance on these groups and implementing the use of agent provocateurs according to the late Frank Donner who studied and investigated Red Squads and COINTELPRO programs and other agencies to infiltrate organizations suspected of political dissent.  The provocateurs would infiltrate the groups and induce citizens to commit crimes or plan to commit crimes which would lead to their arrests.  Today with a modification of the Handschu Decree in 2003 these very practices are being used again against American citizen all in the name of security.  But has history taught us nothing.  Ben Franklin put it best ,”They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Today we have police running similar operations in New York, Cleveland, Boston, Minneapolis, Detroit, Portland (Oregon) and Washington D.C.  Pretty much any city that has a Muslim population of any size.  The reasons for these measures are often less than altruistic and more about a power grab and the ability of the powers that be (PTB) being able control a population when they decide enough is enough and take action against the corporatism and political shenanigans that are going on at the Federal, State and even local level.

Anti-Gun, enemy of liberty New York Mayor Micheal Bloomberg had this to say when defending this evil program.  “In the end the New York City Police Department’s first job is prevention, and I think they’ve done a very good job of that.” We I hate to put a wrench in the works but hey dummy the police are supposed to respond to crimes and then investigate.  Not create them and then arrest the same people who they talked into taking part in these crimes.

Presidential hopeful and Republican front runner 11 term Congressman Ron Paul put it best this week when he stated;

“Freedom is not defined by safety. Freedom is defined by the ability of citizens to live without government interference unless they use force or fraud against others. Government cannot create a world without risks, nor would we really wish to live in such a fictional place. Only a totalitarian society would even claim absolute safety as a worthy ideal, because it would require total state control over its citizens’ lives. Liberty has meaning only if we still believe in it when terrible things happen and a false government security blanket beckons”.

We as citizens must push the Justice Department, Congress, city councils across the nation to investigate this actions and put a stop to them.  Otherwise you could be their next target!

Histria brings all the familiar attacks on our Liberty

Thomas G. Brown |

Once again we see our government capitalizing on a tragedy to further their agendas. The violent acts that played out last Saturday in Tucson, Arizona was the act of one lone nut job who no matter what laws where on the books would have carried out his plan. He had no political agenda he was just a lone loser. This just the sleazy act of politics as usual.
Politicians salivate when a horrible event takes place as they can take more of our rights away in the name of safety and the greater good. George Bush did this in the aftermath of 9/11 to help push through the unconstitutional The USA Patriot Act which. President Obama and the TSA

did this with the body scanning x-ray machines and full body grope downs after the Christmas Day underwear fire fool. Whatever the occasion government drones always look for ways to use an event to add more laws on the books either to look like they are doing something to prevent this from ever happening again or more than often they want more power.
Every day now we have more and more everyday now we have more and more politicians wanting to add more powers to the government in the name of safety. Peter King (R-NY) the head of the Homeland Security Committee has proposed a bill that would ban guns around “government officials”. This would ban guns around Federal Judges, Congressman, President, and Vice President. Another House representative, Robert Brady (D-Pa.) has his focus on making it a federal crime to use certain types of speech and symbols from being used against “Federal Officials.” You can’t put bull’s-eyes or crosshairs on a United States congressman or a federal official,” he said, referring to a map of congressional districts posted on Sarah Palin’s Web site.“The rhetoric is just ramped up so negatively, so high, that we have got to shut this down,” he added.

Some are even using this lose of life as a way to raise money for their campaign. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has sent out and e-mail to his supporters asking for money and stating “this shoot was no surprise and
it was caused by the people who questioned the Health Care bill last year”. Mr. Socialist blames the Tea party groups and folks who believe in the Constitution for this shooting. Not sure how reading “The Communist Manifesto and “Mian Kampf” pretty sure that is not on any Constitutional minded Americans reading list. I guess the waking up of Americans is something that Bernie doesn’t want to happen.

These examples are just the latest along with the gun grabbing bill’s that Daine Fienstien (D-CA), Patrick Leahey (D-VT), Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg (D-N.J.) and Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.) said they plan to introduce legislation banning the manufacture and sale of high-capacity magazines. Just more control measure put on us by anti-liberty elected officials.

Oh my favorite idea by these fools is the one mentioned today by Republican Rep. Dan Burton. Put a plastic bubble around Congress to protect them from the gallery. Yes, this idiot wants a plastic shield to protect Congress from the “proles” that come to watch their elected officials do the peoples business in Washington.

One week into our new Congress and they are starting to use the same tactics as before. So we must double down our efforts to push our elected representatives in government to do the right thing and focus on the Constitution and to abolish and vote down and law or bill that goes against this contract between the People, the States, and Federal Government.
